Description of B&B:

Country - style rooms in a chateau which has been renovated in an environmentally friendly manner (bio-construction). It also utilises solar panels for water heating and reed beds and plants for cleansing waste water.The Ecodomaine is set in 35acres of forest of unusual, historic trees and farmland offering walks in an outstanding and peaceful setting.Excursions can be arranged to places of interest in the locality; the Castle of Guedelon, St Fargeau with its Son et Lumiere , the Potteries of Puisaye, the ‘vide greniers of Mezilles’ like garage sales but on a much grander scale, one of the leading ones in Europe.

Description of Gite:

Great lodging for 12 persons composed of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 WC, a living room and kitchen of 35 m2 in a manor of the 18th century, restored in the middle of 35 acres of green space. We offer courses bioconstruction, self-build solar collectors. Ideal for hiking and cycling. Visit the medieval site of Guédelon and castle of St Fargeau.

Access:

A 160 km de Paris. Par l'autoroute A6 sortie Joigny /Toucy à 132 km de PARIS. Suivre les indications Toucy ( 27km. ). 1 km. avant Toucy, sur le haut d'une longue cöte, prendre à gauche au tout petit panneau lieu dit " les Gilats". Entrée à 500m. sur la gauche, poteau les Gilats
