Nestled in a 1.5-hectare heritage park, the Domaine de l'Ocrerie will welcome its travelers in a longhouse with red ocher tiles & shutters. The place is unusual. Around 1760 it was one of the first ochre place of the Yonne. The yellow ocher that was extracted, was transiting the Netherlands for the production of oil paint ! The history of this industrial past is still present in the dusty gold cases and in the quarry from which the precious pigment was extracted.

The house was also inhabited by a French pop star in the 70's. Today, it is a gallery-style guesthouse with paintings, photos, sculptures and curios.Come and stay one or more nights in a spacious, soothing and refined place and participate in one of our workshops, visit an exhibition or meditate in the park.
