The Haus am Markt was built before 1847. It was one of 21 brewery-inns untilthe 1940s. It was not only an inn but was also a farmhouse.
In the summer of 1998, we became aware of this uninhabited old house by chance. Although it was in a terrible condition, we fell in love with it and began to rebuild it almost immediately.
The five Comfort Apartments for sophisticated expectations are in keeping with modern Residential Comfort. Each apartment is named after a castle in the surrounding area.
The apartments are in keeping with the most modern residential comfort. They are furnished in the rural fashionable style with the best of quality used.
Antiques, modern furniture, hand made curtains, lead-glazings, carefully selected pictures and decorations create a high-quality ambience.

Königstein is a community of 1800 inhabitants in the Upper Palatinate, a part of Bavaria. It is a recognised health resort. Königstein is 500 m above sea level and is located in the nature reserve Fränkische Schweiz/Veldensteiner forest, in a protected valley. It has a favourable climate.
