Rothbury itself is a delightful venue. It has a lovely river bank suitable for a gentle stroll and ideal for children to play or paddle. The village centre is beautifully decorated with flower beds and baskets and the streets are lined with unique shops specialising in quality goods with a difference.

Situated on the edge of Northumberland National Park, its central position makes it the perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Coquet Valley, Cheviot Hills, Heritage Coast and Castles, Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island because of it’s history as a retreat, Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle, famous for the “Harry Potter” films, and the new Alnwick Gardens, Cragside House/Estate, Wallington House/Estate and even the Scottish Borders.
