Where are we located ?
Our guest house is located near the town of MONTAUROUX, one of 9 charming hilltop villages that make up the FAYENCE COUNTRY.

Located in Provence, in the Var, on the edge of the Maritime Alps, near the capital of perfumes (Grasse), this idyllic location between sea and mountains offer the opportunity to discover the landscapes of the Var countryside, local and regional heritage (architecture, gastronomy, history, religion) through known locations, very close and easily accessible, such as Saint Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Grasse or less known -at least interesting towns-: Vence, Saint Maximin, Biot, the Thoronet, Moustiers.

How to come to our place ?
Our guesthouse is easily accessible :
By Car: A8 motorway, Exit 39 : 10 minutes
-By Train: TGV St Raphael or Les Arcs 30mn
-By Plane: Nice International Airport 45 minutes or airfield Fayence 10 minutes.


The property
A fountain, olive trees two major caracteristics in the south of France, so this little valley (« vallon ») was named « The vallon of the fountain of the olive tree ». Several very icy winters in 1950 and the decrease of the olive oil consumption changed durably the landscape. The valley was abandoned by olive trees and covered with oaks and pines

Near woods, the property is now planted with old olive trees, roses, lavender and jasmine, so we named our property:
LE VALLON DES OLIVIERS / OLIVE TREES VALLEY

In a quiet environment, near Lake Saint Cassien and the valley of Siagne, we welcome you for a relaxing stay in comfortable rooms, each with separate toilet and well equipped bathroom.

The "painting" room seems to answer the call of the Arles painter. Among the paintings of Gilles Duran, Var painter, and his view overlooking the valley, this spacious room (19m2) upstairs, is a relaxing place.

Picasso has his museum in Antibes-Juan les Pins and his chapel in Fréjus, Cocteau has his museum in Menton, Giacometti is exposed to the Maeght Foundation in Saint Paul de Vence. They inspired us to decorate this room that gives you a glimpse of crafts in the Fayence area.

This large room (19 sq meters) on ground floor, facing south/south-east, is sunny.
Cette vaste chambre de 19m2 en rez-de-jardin est baignée de lumière grâce à son orientation au sud-sud/est.
Many artists have stayed or lived in the area, and many museums have interesting collections, In this room you will find lithographs inviting you to extend by a museum visit, the discovery of the works of famous artists.

This vast room of 21m2 ground garden is bright and enjoys the first rays of the rising sun. Adjacent to the "arts" room, it can turn into suite. Facing east with private terrace of 18 m2, it offers a clear view of the garden and the end of the valley

- Our dining room allows us to receive you at the « table dhôtes »
- A secure swimming pool 10m x 5 m, large to swim but not so deep (1.40 m) for people who dont swim very well. So you can use and abuse. Bath towels available. Loungers
- A kitchen full equipped with Fridge, ovens, Dishwasher, coffee maker, icecube maker, Outdoor barbecue

- Parking lot inside the property.
- The traditional petanque area
- Exterior lighting on the entire property allows you to extend evenings.

Access to the house and outbuildings is suitable for people with reduced mobility as well


BREAKFAST
We serve breakfast on the terrace or in the shade of oaks. We choose local or home made products.

TABLE DHÔTES
We are pleased to welcome you at dinner on Tuesdays night and Fridays night.
Served under the oaks or on the terrace or in the dining room, the table dhôtes is a nice occasion to meet other guests and have nice conversation with.
We cook local or regional specialities made with fresh products from the gardens, local orchards and farms and coastal fisheries, avaibilities varies.

Price 25 to 30, depending on the menu, 3 courses meal with wine and coffee
Half price for children


BOOKING AND RATES
Price per night for one or two people per room. Breakfast included. Local tax not included : 0.88 per adult and night.
Additional persons per room per day: adult 35 euros, child 17 euros. Including breakfast.
Free for children under 2 years. If you inform us in advance, we can provide you with a cot, high chair.
Arrivals between 17 and 19 hours. In order to accommodate you outside of these hours, thank you to specify it when booking, or send us an SMS message during your travel.
Thank you to leave the rooms for 11 hours.

we will send you a booking contract to return, A deposit of 50% of the stay will be required when booking. The balance payment is due upon arrival;

Payment can be made by check or cash or bank transfer.

Terms of cancelation :
In case of no show or cancellation:
Until 30 days before arrival : total refund of the deposit
Less than 30 days before arrival : no refund

In case of anticiped interruption of the stay, the total amount is due, it will be a refund if we can rebook the rental.

To maintain a perfect hygiene in the rooms, pets are not allowed in guest room. The house is a no-smoking area but smokers can do it outside.

Wine chateaux to gastronomic inns, nature walks to discovery of heritage, sports sessions to lounging at the pool, canyoning excursions in the Verdon to output kayak or paddleboat on Lake Saint Cassian, your stay will model / adapt to your own desire.
