In the heart of the green hills of the Gers, a haven of greenery and calm ... La Taupinière is the small comfortable and super equipped nest that you were looking for to shelter your holidays, whether you are in search of rest, nature or hikes ! There is no nightclub, but a beautiful garden with a pond full of water lilies, fish and dragonflies ; no highway but many signposted walks ; no shopping malls but nice little local markets. And if there was a rainy day, no TV but a flat screen and a good hundred DVDs of all kinds, and of course the wifi!

Description for Gite

Weekly rental (from Saturday to Saturday) of a comfortable and charming eco-friendly cottage for 4 persons (possibly + 1 young child - mattress or cot available on request).
La Taupinière is located in the Gers, 30 km from the town of Auch and 90 km from Toulouse (Midi-Pyrénées - FRANCE), comfortably set in the countryside, on the first floor at the back of an old half-timbered farm, dated 1740, and recently equipped with solar panels.
Independent entrance. Quiet and welcoming.Vast covered wooden terrace with acacia furniture, and sight on the countryside, garden and pond.
Very complete and nice quality equipment (washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, icecubes maker, etc ...). Bathroom with corner bath.
Main sleeping room (double bed) installed on the mezzanine. The second sleeping room (two twin beds) takes place in a cosy Eastern Pavilion, build just in front of the terrace of the main cottage. In that pavilion, dry compostable toilets have been istalled.

The prices vary depending on the season, from 290 to 595 euros per week, including water, electricity, air conditionning (cold/hot), bed linen, towels and household linen, wifi, the use of 2 bicycles, etc ...

We do charge 50 euros for the end of stay cleaning/Covid sanitisation, to be paid cash on the spot.
