Welcome and great that you found Simply Canvas; glamping and cottages/gites with an enclosed swimming pool surrounded by countryside views close to Bergerac in SW France. Our booking season 2017 has now opened.

Our 6 safari tents offer a true Glamping or luxurious camping experience with each their own bathroom and boxspring beds (which makes camping really fun). Or choose one of the three self catering cottages or gites of which one is so spacious you'll never want to leave. All is situated on our 12.5 acre property in the middle of the country side with superb views and of course a large enclosed swimming pool for all. You find us on the border of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne departments in the Aquitaine region of Southwest France, closely situated to Bergerac. Our region is sometimes referred to as the Tuscany of France because of its beautiful rolling hills, sunflower fields, wine chateaus, flowing rivers, bastide villages, lovely walks and castles.

Amongst all this beauty we very much invite you for a lovely holiday. Time for your family, new friends for the children, lovely outings, join us for delicious dinners (for which we are famous) full of local goodness, veggies from our own garden and good conversation at the dining table.

Description for Gite

Staying in our lovely white b&b cottage at Simply Canvas:
This is a beautifully decorated and light house of around 700sqft where you can enjoy the afternoon sunshine shining through the double doors. There is a small living room with small kitchen (2 pits gas cooker and fridge), a stairs takes you to the double bedroom in the mezzanine and downstairs you find another double bedroom, a bathroom and separate toilet.

There is a little terrace directly outside the double doors with a bench, dining table and chairs, and there are long chairs underneath a palm tree in front of the cottage. Of course there is our entire 12.5 acre property to enjoy, the pool is close, the former cowbarn now multi purpose space with lots of extra facilities as cutlery and plates, bbq’s, microwave, dishwashing area is there. There is a large XXL terrace to eat, a play barn with ping pong and badminton and not to forget the couch on the sunset deck with campfire pit.

2 persons €85 per night, €500 for a week including breakfast (arrival day, any day, min. stay 2 nights)
2-4 persons €105 or 125 per night, €600 for a week including breakfast (arrival date any time, min. stay 2 nights)
Extra 5th person €50 per week

2-4 persons €875 for a week including breakfast (arrival day Saturday, min. stay 1 week)

Cleaning costs €50 at the end of your stay.
