Welcome and great that you found Simply Canvas; glamping and cottages/gites with an enclosed swimming pool surrounded by countryside views close to Bergerac in SW France.

Our 6 safari tents offer a true Glamping or luxurious camping experience with each their own bathroom and boxspring beds (which makes camping really fun). Or choose one of the three self catering cottages or gites of which one is so spacious you'll never want to leave. All is situated on our 12.5 acre property in the middle of the country side with superb views and of course a large enclosed swimming pool for all. You find us on the border of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne departments in the Aquitaine region of Southwest France, closely situated to Bergerac. Our region is sometimes referred to as the Tuscany of France because of its beautiful rolling hills, sunflower fields, wine chateaus, flowing rivers, bastide villages, lovely walks and castles.

Amongst all this beauty we very much invite you for a lovely holiday. Time for your family, new friends for the children, lovely outings, join us for delicious dinners (for which we are famous) full of local goodness, veggies from our own garden and good conversation at the dining table.

Do you feel like lots of luxury and space then consider the large holiday home which has all comforts needed and it is completely self catering, This house used to be the “chai” on our property, which is the area where they made the wine. The building has been completely renovated to a spacious and light property of 1500sqft.
All our guests say the same thing when they arrive: “Gosh what a beautiful home, even better than the pictures on the website”, because somehow the pictures don’t do it complete justice.
There is a large open space living room, kitchen with tv and dvd player. From the living room you walk into a large veranda with glass doors all around, where the dining room is. It is the perfect place to wake up in the morning and read your newspaper. The holiday home also has its own private garden with stone bbq, outdoor dining table and sun chairs.
Further there is a double bedroom, a separate toilet and a special room for the children with success guaranteed, because they can sleep in the remainders of the old stone wine barrels. The room is perfect for 2-3 children.

The house is privately situated yet a complete part of our place and since we are making breakfast for everybody anyway, breakfast is included, Of course there is the enclosed swimming pool for communal use with the other guests and you can join us for lovely local (organic) dinners when you don't feel like cooking yourself.

Outside July and August
2-4 persons €150 per night, €850 for a week including breakfast (arrival day, any day, min. stay 2 nights)
Extra 5th person €50 per week

July and August
2-4 persons €1095 for a week including breakfast (arrival day Saturday, min. stay 1 week)
Extra 5th person €50 per week
Cleaning costs €55 at the end of your stay.
