Ginkgo, Marseille Holiday Rentals

Located in the south area of Marseille, in the 9th arrondissement, this bed & breakfast is situated on a family property.

The entire space has been converted to accommodate both a restaurant, open for lunch, and some rooms for guests to stay. The overall layout of the property has been ethically thought and inspired by the respect of the environment, from growing products for the restaurant to the installation of solar panels to sustain the water and electricity consumption, down to the materials used for the renovation. The place has been named Ginkgo, in reference to the legendary tree Ginkgo Biloba.

Ginkgo has 3 double rooms and each of them has its own vegetable universe. You can check-in at any time of the day, however the rooms will only be available after 3pm (Mon, Tue and Wed) and 5pm (from Thu to Sun). You must check-out by 11am if the room is occupied the same day or 3pm if the room is vacant that day. Please check with the host if you have additional question.

You can enjoy the large outdoor space of the property (and visit the vegetable garden) and we have a parking lot for your car.

The restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. We also offer evening meals and high end picnic baskets for the guests on demand (based on availability), check with the host for more information.

Ginkgo is located only a few miles from the National Parc "Les Calanques" (5 min by car, 10min with general transportation, 25 minutes walk), and from the sea (10 min by car, 30min with general transportation). Ginkgo also offers day trips on a sailing boat with a local skipper to visit the treasure that Marseille has to offer. Please check with the host for pricing and availabilities.
