Choosing Bounetis Bas is choosing for a stay in the French countryside, very quiet, yet centrally located to do all kinds of trips. The region borders the Lot to the north, the Aveyron and the Tarn to the northeast, the Haute-Garonne to the south and the Gers and Lot-et-Garonne to the southwest. Add to this the beautiful varied nature, the many ancient villages and fortified towns in the neighborhood, the typical markets under the French sun and the wineries, holiday feeling at its best! With us you can choose for a stay in B&B formula or in a gîte (holiday home). Hospitality, serenity and space are characteristic of the area. In addition to the beautiful nature, where you can go hiking and cycling, there are also many picturesque villages, often situated on the hillsides, which offer a nice view of the surrounding area. There are various recreational lakes, some of which include water sports and (sailing) boat rentals. Canoeing on the rivers, visiting caves, tree climbing parks, museums etc. The Tarn-et-Garonne is not a big tourist department, but there are plenty of things to see and do. The Canal du Midi flows through along a hiking and cycling path and also the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella crosses the Tarn-et-Garonne. Also for those who like culture there is plenty to discover and visit. Due to its central location, it is also easy to take trips to E.g. Cahors, Agen, Pujols, Rocamadour and Toulouse, but also the Pyrenees mountains can be visited during a day trip. Let yourself be surprised by the beauty of this relatively unknown department. Description for Gite

On the property there are 2 gîtes and a large guestroom.
Gite "La Maison" is a spacious loft-like house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is located in an old barn, partly converted into a residence. You have a dining area with open kitchen, and a sitting area with TV (Dutch TV, some English channels). There are 2 bedrooms with a box spring of 180x200, which can also be split into two beds. A third single bed can be added. You have a cozy terrace where you can enjoy the silence and the beaty of nature.
"Le Chalet" is a cozy cottage with a beautiful view over the valley from your private terrace. The gîte has a kitchenette, bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, sleeping area with double box spring and sitting area with sofa bed. Via a walkway from the terrace you reach the tree house with a bunk bed for children. A camera is attached in the tree house so that you can always keep an eye on your children on a monitor in the gîte.
"The Doré" is a romantic spacious room with a double bed, and two single beds for children. There is a shower room with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. At breakfast, we serve you delicious pastries, baguette, fruit salad, fresh fruit juice and homemade specialties. If you do not feel like cooking yourself, there is also the possibility of dining with the owners and potentially other guests.
