A century-old farmhouse with its barn and stables has been converted into five comfortable apartments self catering. In the restoration have always wanted to preserve the architectural style of the Algarve.

The houses were subjected to a careful process of rehabilitation in order to preserve the organic architecture, characteristic of the region, with the use of traditional materials such as sugar cane, lime, wood, stone, tile of Santa Catarina, and wool ( insulation).

The preservation of the environment was from the beginning, a major concern. In this sense, associated with domestic waste water is piped to a filter pit, where they undergo a primary treatment under aerobic. Then pour water into a plant-treatment plant, where it is purified by halophyte plants and shrubs from the coast. At the end of the purification process, water is captured in a well, and is used to water the garden.

The Houses of the old barn is composed of five accommodation, three bedrooms and two suites.
