"Au Chateau" is a beautiful 18th century country house, with stunning, panoramic views of the Pyrenees. Even although its got lovely period features, like the fireplaces and the banisters, it has lots of modern touches, like the central heating and a great kitchen. The house is the ideal getaway for families or groups of friends looking for the perfect relaxing break. Au Chateau is situated on the site of a mediaeval motte and bailie providing commanding views of the immediate countryside and the snow capped Pyrenees beyond. The manoir lies within and above the hamlet of Luby Betmont, which consists of a church, a few other houses and several farm buildings. Because of the layout of the land, its complete secluded and private once youre past the gatesAccommodation The house offers extensive accommodation, ideal for two families or a group of friends holidaying together. There are two large drawing rooms, a dining room, five bedrooms (one with bunk beds, one with twin beds), a TV/games room, a well-equipped kitchen and three baths with two more loos downstairs. The master bedroom is en-suite. All linen is provided, including towels and pool towels, Kitchen The kitchen has a double electric oven with a gas hob. There is a large American style fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. All crockery, cutlery and electrical equipment are provided, including a toaster, a Braun mixer and cafetieres.
