Les Maquinols Estate is located in the well-known scenic Provence village of Bédoin. Ideally situated at the very foot of legendary Mont Ventoux, one of the most grueling climbs in the Tour de France, Les Maquinols Estate features beautifully decorated and spacious accommodation so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday to the fullest. A perfect place to unwind, relax and reconnect with yourself.

Property is 2 minute walking distance to the village through a private path from the property and is ideal for families, couples or cycling and biking groups featuring 5000m2 of secluded land yet a short stroll takes you to dine at over a dozen restaurants for all budgets, also bars, shopping, circus, arts & crafts fairs, sporting events and concerts all year round.

Each area in the estate offers stunning views of Mont Ventoux, the largest mountain in the region, a cyclists and hikers paradise it features private secured parking and gated. Whole house has very fast Wi-Fi and all bedroom have a kitchenette area with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, plates, bowls, silverware, wine and champagne glasses for extra independence if desired. The main kitchen is on the first floor.

The backdrop to the house is the stunning views of the mountain with vineyards, cherry orchards, olive groves and fields of lavender providing wonderful walking and cycling from your doorstep. This is a nature lovers and birdwatchers paradise. We are surrounded by fields and nestled upon a hill overlooking the village and the famous Mont Ventoux yet just a short walk to the village.

Home has a country Provence feel with a large living room which seats 9 people, a salon with large screen TV and two large couches and a dining area which seats 7 comfortably. There are 4 extra large terraces with lounging chairs and tables, great views and total privacy. There are 4 bedrooms total and 3.5 baths. Master bedroom is on second floor and is more than 70m2 with an extra bedroom adjacent which sleeps 5 if necessarythe master itself has an extra large king size bed. All bathrooms are in each bedroom. Theres a mezzanine bedroom on ground floor which sleeps 2 in a queen size bed and private bathroom. In addition there is another bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom as well which sleeps 2. House can sleep a total of 13 but we prefer to keep occupancy around 6 or 8.

There is a plethora of activities offered in the area from cycling, swimming, hiking, wine tasting as there are over two hundred vineyards and Domains such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueryas, Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas minutes away by car.

All around Bédoin are a multitude of picturesque Provencal villages, landmarks such as the Palais des Papes, markets, arts and crafts as well as more than 18 Relais & Chateaux such as the Château de Rochegude all within 30 miles, beautiful properties transformed into culinary gastronomic heavens. The drive to Avignon theatre, arts and music festivals takes approx. 35 minutes. Marseille airport is about 1h15 away. Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Nîmes are about an hour away and beaches such as Saintes-Marie de la Mer is 50 minutes away.

In addition, there are hikes, easy walks and strolls with more than 4000 kilometers of hiking paths and trails crossing Mont Ventoux to the Luberon Hills. You will come across typical stone villages, with an inviting cool stream or red ochre hills surrounded by ancient cypress trees, which characterises the region, and fertile plains perfumed with the scents of Provence. Horse riding: For experienced riders who want to ride through the countryside on their own there are immense possibilities on a wide network of marked trails. Canoeing and Kayaking: Vaucluse is the home of beautiful waterways. The Sorgue River and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse are oasis of cool water on a hot summer day, you can even paraglide from Le-Barroux.
