Description for B&B:The old village nineteenth century cafe has been lovingly restored by Françoise and Yves.
Today it is a pleasant building with turquoise shutters, a pergola at the front and secluded garden at the rear which are sheltered by a hill, dotted with trees and flowers with multiple species.
There are 4 comfortable bedrooms. On is uniquely set in the confines of the antique shop itself, with period décor. The furniture is expertly restored by Yves, the cabinetmaker, and managed by Françoise who had the idea of clients sleeping in Yves shop, amid the treasures unearthed in the region.
The furniture is carefully restored and the shop has been redecorated, providing a modern twist set amongst the collection of walnut chests of drawers from the time of Louis-Philippe, country tables, rustic cupboards, old glasses, slip pots, chandelier pendants and glazed pottery which will make you dizzy with delight.
Above the carpenter's workshop, a light, airy room is found with a stairwell decorated with posters collected by the owners over the years, many of which, are from the famous Hauterives annual jazz festival. The room is cozy, furnished with charm and equipped with a kettle, coffee and fridge available in the lobby.
