The Kerbeleg Bed and Breakfast is located just a few minutes from the artists' town of Pont-Aven and the beaches. This superb 15th-century stone residence is situated in a peaceful setting and surrounded by 2 hectares of grounds.

The stones of a 15th-century castle served as the foundation for this historic site. Successive extensions and renovations have transformed it from a manor house into a farmhouse. It is now a B&B. Your hostess is a history lover and will be happy to satisfy your thirst for knowledge about the area. A book detailing recent research into the site's past through Breton history is available to read in each room.

Two large, comfortable bedrooms have been renovated in keeping with the spirit of the house since it came into the family six decades ago. Each has an unobstructed view of the park with its south-facing orientation.

The owner has redesigned Kerbeleg as a guest house with the invaluable help of talented local craftsmen. This farmhouse will also charm you with its choice of materials and reinvented furnishings. For your comfort, the farmhouse is organised around the cathedral-style lounge with its large fireplace. Ideal for relaxing and reading, it opens onto the billiard room, a spacious living room with stone floors and exposed beams.

From the billiard room, it leads to two comfortable bedrooms via a landing. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

The Les OISEAUX bedroom, decorated with its large original granite fireplace, adjoins a small bedroom for two children.
The Les OURS bedroom also offers a magnificent view of the grounds.
The Les ECUREUILS suite is the estate's former bakery. It is a charming bedroom for a couple, with a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

In the large house, on one side of the living room, behind the second magnificent fireplace, is the kitchen for a gourmet break. Modernised, it welcomes you around a large solid wood monastery table for breakfast.

Leisure activities
On the other side is the leisure room and library with its table football and card table. On less sunny days or when you return from a hike, you can relax in peace and quiet.

In fine weather, we set the table on the terrace overlooking the park. Early risers are sure to spot deer at dawn, pheasants and other wildlife.

Just 5 minutes from the motorway, Kerbeleg overlooks peaceful and easily accessible countryside. It is also close to most of the region's cultural sites and tourist attractions. Lorient (city of sailing), Quimper, Concarneau and its old town, the many small ports, the abers of southern Finistère and the granite sites. It will be the centre of gravity for a multitude of activities during your stay.
