La Roseraie is an elegant Chambres d'hotes with 3 beautifully appointed double rooms and 2 spacious family suites. All rooms are en-suite and fitted with small flat-screen tvs. For those moments when a cup of tea is just what you need, complimentary tea and coffee is available in the guest sitting room.There are also two self-catering gites, each with their own private terraces with barbeques and garden furniture.
For the added enjoyment of all our guests, we have a bistro-style leisure room, with a small library of books and DVDs, as well as card and board games. An honesty bar adds to the ambiance.
The extensive gardens are furnished with tables and chairs for relaxing outside and the large swimming pool, which overlooks our private parkland, is heated.
From the tranquil and private grounds of La Roseraie, it is a short walk to the village of Neuville, where a lively market is held every Sunday morning. In addition, there are two excellent restaurants and a 'family-style' restaurant. The headquarters of this wine-growing region is also in the village, where you are invited for tours and tastings. There is a small and interesting walnut-oil factory, where you can see the oil being produced, often using original machinery.

La Roseraie is 500 metres from the village centre of Neuville de Poitou, situated in the department of La Vienne, in the Poitou-Charente region, about 10K from the Paris-Bordeaux Autoroute (the A10) and just off the N147.
From the North - exit the A10 at "Futuroscope" just North of Poitiers, turn left at the exit roundabout, following signs to Neuville (the D62)
From the South - exit the A10 at "Poitiers Nord" and follow signs to Nantes, Saumur and Angers, this will take you onto the N147 and you will see signs to Neuville.
From Poitiers Airport - turn left at the first roundabout leading from the Airport, following signs for Nantes and Tours. At the second set of traffic lights turn left, following signposts for Nantes. Then follow signs for Saumur, Angers and Neuville.
From Poitiers Station - follow signs to Nantes, then Saumur Angers and Neuville
Once you are in the commune of Neuville, at the first roundabout, follow signs to Saumur, Angers and Mirebeau (the N147). After about 1K you reach a second roundabout where you must turn left, leaving the N147, following signs to Les Grands Prés. Immediately you will meet two miniroundabouts - turn right at the first, and left at the second. You are now in rue Armand Caillard and La Roseraie is No 78 on the right hand side.
