Welcome to La Poterie, an elegant, romantic and unique, historical artists' home in the heart of Loches' Royal thousand-year old citadelle town which is on the southern side of the Loire Valley. The house is spacious yet cosy, and can accomodate from 2 to 8 people with continental breakfast as an option. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony which also offers memorable sunsets, and its spacious bed boasts an orthopedic and gel-form mattress, as well as having an ensuite bath/shower room. The smaller bedroom is adjacent to the master bedroom and ideal for children needing to sleep near their parents. Another advantage is that the bedrooms are far enough away from the kitchen, dining and lounge areas which makes quality sleep even easier! There is a 3rd double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC that can be hired for a supplementary fee. Other noteworthy features are: spacious dining /lounge areas, contemporary DVD collection, a walled garden which you are welcome to pick from when in season, a rose arbour which is home to roses, grapes and kiwis, which you are may pluck if the season is right ! The hanging garden has some rare botanicals and "simples", enjoy a game of croquet or sunbathe in the beautiful secluded garden.

must be the Rapunzel-like tower which is built within the ramparts and takes you to Loches' bi-weekly market and best restaurants within minutes. Wining and dining are a delight, all the more because your car is parked opposite the house for free!
