Located in the Perche Sarthois, the château de Chéronne and it's landscaped park are isolated in the middle of 400 hectares of woods and meadows. The Chéronne river flows in the front pond with a varied animal life.The entrance gatehouse , probably the 1er castle was built around 1490. It is indexed by the French National Trust.
The castle itself was built during the 16th century and has been altered during the 17th century so as to erase the defensive architectural aspects (moats and drawbridges ...). Then in the 19 th century the main facades have been restored in a next renaissance style.

Located between Chartres & Le Mans, at 1 hour from Paris with TGV and 2 hours with car on the motorway A86. As well next to the Châteaux de La Loire.
By car : A86 / A11, exit "La Ferté-Bernard" then toward Connerré & Tuffé. Cross Tuffé towards Bonnétable. After Tuffé, first right towards St Denis-des-Coudrais. At the end of the descent, turn right looking for a blue indication : Cheronne, château et ferme.
By train : - TGV station Le Mans, then 30 minutes of Taxi (+332 43 24 92 92 / +336 63 11 79 10).
- TER station Connerré-Beillé, then 10 minutes of Taxi (+332 43 89 03 41 / +336 14 21 47 03).
By plane or helicopter : Le Mans airport (+334 72 14 16 51)
