Gensac, Ravine Des Cabris

Description for B&B:

The ancient village of Gensac, east of the Gironde department, is a pretty village with cobbled streets where it is good to walk with a magnificent view over the valley Dureze (tributary of the Dordogne). Hikes and excursions can be made several kilometers around the village. The landscape, hilly, consists mostly of vineyards.



10 min drive you will find a beautiful lake (Lac La Cadie) surrounded by trees and greenery, which was constructed around a sandy beach for relaxation, sunbathing and swimming in fresh water and a comfortable temperature ( entry to 2.5 € / adult, 1 € / child for the whole day). Really nice place for a relaxing holiday, and even better than the sea because less supervision needed from parents (in the summer, swimming is supervised by a qualified swimming instructor).
