Our spacious, light-filled home has an open aspect so you can nestle in the heart of the house no matter what room you are in. Its terraces and far-reaching views are a delight in the warm weather, and the central open fireplace and underfloor heating a joy for relaxing in during the winter months. The Moroccan- flavoured decor and charming features will bring a smile to your face and the wide windows invite the Mediterranean garden inside the house in all seasons.With just one guest room for visitors (with its wonderfully comfy bed) you have complete privacy on the first floor with bathroom, separate wc and spacious, private balcony with spectacular sea and mountain views. If you wish you may take breakfast on the balcony or join us for this relaxing start to the day.
A stunning area strewn with vineyards, mountains, gorges castles and beaches and with the perfume of lavender, cypress, wild thyme and rosemary and ablaze with colourful oleander and bougainvillea which will simply take your breath away. La Palme, a delightful wine-growing village rich in cultural and historical interest dating back to the ninth century is not a tourist hot-spot - just a simple and rather lovely, working village.

Directions
From the north: Take motorways A61 to Narbonne and then A9 towards Perpignan. Exit at No. 39 (Sigean) and then take the N9 towards Perpignan. After you pass the signs for the village of Roquefort des Corbieres on your right, you'll go up a hill and then pass a Totale garage also on your right, then you'll see signs for La Palme and the sea right in front of you! Move into the left-hand lane and exit the N9. After nearly a kilometer turn left onto Rue des Montpellières and follow the road round to the left (between the two pink walls). We're on the right-hand side opposite a double blue house.
From the south: Exit motorway A9 at junction 40 (Port la Nouvelle, Leucate). Take left turn onto the N9 towards Narbonne and Sigean. After about ten minutes you'll come to a roundabout signposted Port la Nouvelle, and La Palme. Entrance to the village is about 1.5 kilometres on the left. Continue up the main street towards the clock tower until you get to a little square. Turn left into the square and take the little road to the left of the café. Turn right at the end and continue up this road, up a hill and out of the village until you get to a globe lamp-post. Turn right here into our road and follow it around to the left between the two pink walls. Our house is on the right opposite a double blue house.
