La Verderie is situated in a small hamlet just outside the village of Brizambourg where there are a couple of shops, a tabac and a restaurant. It is a peaceful, rural area surrounded by vineyards and woodland, the quiet lanes are perfect for cycling and walking. We are close to the towns of Saintes, St Jean d'angely and Cognac which hold many tourist attractions. The property has a ground floor bedroom with ensuite and two first floor bedrooms with a private sitting room and shower room. There is a pretty enclosed courtyard for alfresco dining. Evening meals are available on request and we are open all year round.Reviews

Directions
Take the D731 between Cognac and St Hillaire de Villefranche, if you are heading East proceed to the end of Brizambourg and turn right immediately after the first traffic island (signposted for La Verderie), if you are heading west turn right at the last traffic island just after you have entered Brizambourg (signposted for La Verderie). Continue straight ahead down this lane for 2km, the first hamlet you come to is La Verderie. No 16 is near the end of the hamlet on the right hand side, parking is immediately after the property to the right on the grass next to the gas tank.
