Description of Gite:

The surroundings are calm, bordered by the path GR36, the fields, the trees and the streams.

Very convivial, the place sprawls on the grass which, under the fruit-trees, gives an absolute relaxation.

As the weather is always nice in Normandy, you can enjoy a barbecue lunch, that is a real pleasure for everybody !

A small soccer field for the children and a bowling green are available behind the main construction.

You can practise many activities at the Pont d'Ouilly base (2kms) such as archery, climbing, canoe/kayak, etc...).

For the hikers, the place of the roches d'Oëtres (5kms) gives an exceptional panoramic view, characteristic of the Suisse Normande.

And as horseriding amateur, you can find a few kilometres from our place the centers The Baronnerie (Pont d'Ouilly) and The Pommeraye.

Finally, in a 15km radius, you can practise paragliding and hang-gliding (4 and 12kms), find adventure playgrounds, rail bike...

Access:

Caen, Falaise and then to Pont d'Ouilly, signs near the church for Menil Hubert indicating 3kms. Arriving in the village take the first road on the right.

Gîte idéal, très fonctionnel. Vaste salle de bain, chambres et dortoirs spacieux. Cuisine superbe lorsque l'on doit cuisiner soit même, tout y est. Immense terrain pour jouer et se détendre, même si nous n'avons pas eu la chance de pouvoir profiter du terrain (météo maussade pour ce week end). Nous recommandons ce gîte qui est vraiment à la hauteur et tout cela pour un prix très raisonnable, aucune mauvaise surprise. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil.
